Swedish company MIMSafe has been in operation since 1986, bringing the most sophisticated European technology to pet owners across the globe. MIMSafe manufacture the Variocage and Variogate. 

MIMSafe have four ranges of products.

The Variocage is the most rigorously crash tested and approved dog transport cage available worldwide, and the only crash tested Crate available in Australia. 

All testing is in accordance with SPCT (Safe Pet Crate Test) and performed by SP (Technical Research Institute of Sweden).

WHAT MAKES USING A VARIOCAGE SO SAFE?

MIM Safe VarioCage is the only cage on the market today that has been crash tested for performance for front, rear and rollover collisions. It has been designed to mimic the safety features of your own vehicle with built in crumple zones providing safety for passengers and animals. It has also been subjected to a drop test that simulates a Vehicle rollover. In all cases, the VariocCage outperformed all other cages on the market and met or exceeded the safety standards applied by the testing organization.

WHY DO WE SAY THAT THE VARIOCAGE IS SAFE FOR HUMANS?

The VarioCage is designed to withstand force and is built to buckle not splinter in an accident. Many other designs on the market will splinter under force and in doing so could pierce or even impale a human passenger, either directly or through the rear seat. The VarioCage also has a cushioning effect for passengers in the event of a rear collision.

The products are manufactured in Sweden using the highest quality materials and workmanship. They are not sourced from developing countries such as those found in Asia.

When MIMsafe crash tested a regular steel cage with a solid frame, it broke through the back seat of the car. The VarioCage is designed to crumple not splinter, in the event of an accident, minimising risk of injury to humans and animals. 

All products are made of high quality steel that has been powder coated. Powder coating provides excellent durability and toughness while maintaining its gloss level. A powdered product has great corrosion and weather resistance. It also has excellent impact and wear characteristics. The products have no annual servicing requirements and come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty.
