Our PuppyStars puppy class is a fun and informative class designed to kick-start your new best friends learning and life experiences.
Puppies have critical periods of learning between the ages of 6-16 weeks. The experiences they have during these times will shape their behaviour and personality for the rest of their life.
Attending puppy class will help you train and socialise your puppy in a controlled and safe environment, shaping your puppy into a well-mannered member of your family.
We strive to build positive relationships between people and their puppies based on trust and effective communication.
Don't be a couch potato with your new puppy!
When it comes to puppies time is of the essence!

We will attempt to accommodate clients who are unable to attend a lesson (within their five (5 ) week course with an offer of attending a catch-up lesson at the end of their course.
However, we cannot guarantee an alternative lesson will be available (unless agreed upon when booking the course). Accommodating your puppy into a “catch-up lesson” for missed classes takes into account the age of your puppy. Plus, the number of puppies within the group at the end of your five (5) week course. As your puppy matures and grows they may not be of a suitable age for puppy class to accommodate into a class with younger puppies. If a puppy is above the age limit by the time an alternate class is available, or the current group of puppies exceeds optimal class numbers, a catch-up lesson might not be possible.
If at anytime GCPB cancels a lesson within your five (5) week course. This will of course not be deemed to come out of your allotted course lessons. We will merely pick up where we left off the following week. If you do miss a class, ALL lessons can easily be viewed on your online portal where the weekly homework and lesson plans are held for you to review and follow. There is no need to worry about missing course content. It is ALL online for you to review at any time.
Refunds (full or partial) cannot be offered once clients attend their first lesson of the 5 week course or the home visit if part of the Premium Package (whichever occurs first). If you ask to cancel prior to attending your first lesson, a refund is offered.
You will have access to your class online portal for 12 months from enrolment in your course. The online portal features your course orientation lessons, homework, training videos and valuable resources. Everything covered in the course.
While we would love the whole family to attend the in-person lesson of your puppy class. This is not always possible due to space within the training area and Covid-19 space restrictions (when directed by the QLD Government). Your weekly puppy class reminder email will advise of any restrictions week to week should they be required.
After running puppy classes for over 20 years. I can assure you less is more when it comes to the number of puppies in class. We limit our classes to 4-5 pups per class to ensure sufficient one-on-one time for everyone.
